Psychology is the scientific study of behavior - understanding how people and other organisms develop, learn, think, feel, act, and relate to one another. Students will develop an understanding of the scientific process and how it applies to the study of human behavior. Developing knowledge about methods to research human behavior can aid in understanding individual experiences and can be applied to a variety of different career options. The program prepares students for entry-level jobs in psychology/mental health, social services, law, business, and education and for advanced degrees in psychology and other professions, such as law and business.
